The Fred's Texas Cafe Community Support Initiative is an ongoing project that aims to collaborate with local nonprofit organizations to serve and uplift our community.
As part of this initiative, we will be showcasing the impactful work of local nonprofits and contributing a portion of our sales to their causes on a designated day each quarter. By partnering with organizations that prioritize the betterment of community well-being, Fred's Texas Cafe is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our neighbors.

This quarter Fred’s is teaming up with our community partners West Aid and the Cindy Ramsey Center.
On Wednesday, June 18th, we will host a Community Initiative Benefit Day, and we need you! We're donating 15% of all sales—including to-go orders—to these two organizations that do more than just distribute food to our neighbors in need.

First Fridays

At Fred’s Texas Cafe, we’re all about community, good times, and great food—and First Fridays at Fred’s is our way of bringing it all together. We kicked off this monthly event in June 2024 with our friends at Stone’s Throw Farm Co., who brought fresh produce and local goodness straight from the farm. Since then, we’ve rotated between our Camp Bowie and Western Center locations, keeping the first Friday of each month marked for local favorites and good old-fashioned Fred’s fun.
In June 2025, we’re excited to welcome S&V Plant Love, the green thumb behind our vibrant flowerbeds and iconic truck bed, now offering plants for purchase. Stop by on June 6 from 5:30–8:00PM at our Camp Bowie location to grab a burger, a cold one, and a little something to take home and grow.
