The Fred's Texas Cafe Community Support Initiative is an ongoing project that aims to collaborate with local nonprofit organizations to serve and uplift our community.
As part of this initiative, we will be showcasing the impactful work of local nonprofits and contributing a portion of our sales to their causes on a designated day each quarter. By partnering with organizations that prioritize the betterment of community well-being, Fred's Texas Cafe is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our neighbors.
Every Burger, Every Fry, Every Bite Counts.
On Thursday, September 18th, we will host a Community Initiative Benefit Day at both of our locations, and we need you! We're donating 15% of all sales—including to-go orders—to support the efforts of our community partner, Stone’s Throw Farm Co.
Whether you’re craving a burger, some fries, or one of our legendary desserts, every bite helps support our local partners. So come hungry, leave happy, and help us give back, Texas style!
Fred’s is teaming up with Stone’s Throw Farm Co. to provide job readiness and training opportunities to people with special needs.
From Farm Stand to Fred’s Texas Cafe — A Partnership with Purpose
Stone’s Throw Farm Co. has been a valued partner of Fred’s over the last year — now we’re taking it to the next level with our in-store jarred goods and quarterly work day program!
Stone’s Throw is committed to providing work opportunities for teens and adults with special needs through their Farm Internship Program. As part of our Community Support Initiative, Fred’s is proud to support their mission by providing job readiness and hands-on training opportunities for Stone’s Throw’s crew right here in our restaurants.
Starting September 21st, Stone’s Throw’s handmade jarred goods will be available for purchase at all Fred’s locations. Every jar purchased at Fred’s funds Stone’s Throw’s Farm Internship Program that helps integrate their team members into essential systems of everyday life.
Fred’s will also host Stone’s Throw’s team members once each quarter for a full Sunday shift to get real-world restaurant training and experience. Job readiness is a fundamental part of Stone’s Throw’s mission, and we’re honored to provide opportunities for their crew to build skills, network with their neighbors, and strengthen local connections the way Fred’s always has — through food.
At Fred’s Texas Cafe, we’re all about supporting our neighbors and great food — and this partnership with Stone’s Throw is a natural fit. Whether it’s a shift working in the kitchen or a jar on the shelf, this partnership creates lasting local benefit by helping every neighbor find their place at the table.
